Title | Dissensus Algorithms for Opinion Dynamics |
Summary | This project aims to investigate novel algorithms and mechanisms to model and analyze opinion dynamics within a social network characterized by dissensus. Dissensus, or disagreement, is a common phenomenon in social groups, and understanding its impact on opinion dynamics is crucial for effective decision-making. The project involves a comprehensive literature review to identify existing models and theories related to dissensus and opinion dynamics. Subsequently, advanced dissensus algorithms will be proposed to capture the dynamics of divergent opinions over time. The research will also involve the validation of these algorithms through simulations, aiming to contribute to the development of robust models for opinion dynamics in contexts where dissensus plays a significant role. |
