Title Automated Microwave Measurements: LabVIEW-Based Control of VNA, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, and AWG
Summary Modern microwave and RF circuit testing requires precise and efficient data acquisition from multiple instruments, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWG). This project aims to develop a LabVIEW-based automation system that seamlessly integrates these instruments to enable real-time data collection, analysis, and visualization.

The selected student will:

* Learn to interface and control microwave instruments using LabVIEW.

* Develop scripts for automated test sequences, reducing human intervention.

* Implement data processing techniques for signal analysis and visualization.

* Optimize measurement efficiency for high-frequency device characterization.

This project is ideal for students interested in RF/microwave engineering, embedded systems, and automation. A strong foundation in programming (LabVIEW or similar), signal processing, and basic electronics will be beneficial. The outcome of this project will contribute to more efficient and repeatable RF/microwave measurements, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy.
