Title Compact wideband impedance transformers
Summary Impedance transformers are fundamental components in RF and microwave circuits. They perform basic functions like impedance matching, power splitting and combining. Recently, they have also been employed in Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) power amplifiers to transform the output impedance to the low impedances of the power devices. In this applications, the impedance transformers need to achieve high impedance transformation ratio, wideband performance and compact in size to be suitable for MMIC implementations. This project will investigate and explore circuit structures suitable for demonstrating compact, wideband, Impedance transformers.

This project is in collaboration with DSO National Lab. As some confidential information involved Singaporeans with good CGPA is preferred.
