| Objective | To develop a system to assist nursing staff in bathing and toileting immobile patients. |
| Scope | The student will develop a system with simple control to raise and lower patients on the bed to allow nursing staff to bathe the patient. The system should also be able to raise the patient sufficiently to use a bedpan. |
