Title Building a Self-Balancing Scooter I
Objective Self-balancing two-wheeled scooters, like the Segway ( http://www.segway.com ) are often thought to be technological miracles, but apparently it is not actually very hard to build one. The objective will be to design and build such a device. Your attempt may not be as elegant as the Segway. Possibly more like the following: http://www.tlb.org/scooter.html
Scope This is a continuation of previous year's FYP, so student will already have a head start.The tasks include1) Literature review2) Computer modeling and simulation of self-balancing scooter3) Instrumentation and programming the controls.4) Design modification5) Testing
