| Title | Soft tissue cross sectional area measurement system |
| Objective | To develop an integrated system for the measurement of the cross sectional area of soft tissue |
| Scope | Good knowledge in programming and hardware/software interface are essential. The cross sectional area of soft tissue is irregular and is often estimated using approximation. In this project, measurement of the relevant dimensions will be taken using laser. The measurements will be converted through software to output the cross sectional area. The whole system should be integrated into a complete system. |
