Title Design of interactive cable-drive robotic system
Objective The objective of this project is to develop a dual cable-drive robot platform in the form of robotic puppet for human interaction and autonomous behaviors. Main applications will be entertainment and robot games.
Scope 1. Design of a high performance robotic puppeteer platform with 3 to 5 DOFs driven by strings2. Design of robotic competition area with interaction3. Use of novel input/haptic devices4. System prototyping and testing
Prerequisites Good mechatronics and hands-on experience, good mechanical design experience, good computer gaming skills
