| Title | Bio robotics for life science applications |
| Objective | To develop a robotic system for genetic analysis |
| Scope | One of emerging aspects of the robotics technology is its application in life sciences, where a large amount of DNA probes and related biochemicals are to be loaded onto various analytical kits and biochips. The student will study the fundamentals related to the existing lab automation for molecular biology operation. He will then design his own robotic solution for one or two specific genetic liquid handling robotic automation applications. He will work with a team of enigeers and biologists in NTU and NUS during his project period. |
