| Title | Development and fabrication of a passive tongue position sensor for use as a Human Interface Device (HID) |
| Objective | To implement an inductive sensor to be use as a passive tongue tracking device for use as a HID. |
| Scope | The project involves the calibration and implementation of an inductive sensor to track the position of the tongue tip. Information like tongue position stability, resolution attainable have to be gathered. The acquired data will then be incorporated into a HID program to interface with the HID driver of PC. The tongue motion will help the disable user with text and command inputs to the PC. This is a signal processing and programming project. This project is an ongoing project. Opportunity is available for the student to work with a disabled user. This is a continuation from a previous FYP. |
