| Title | Design and Development of a URV (II) |
| Objective | To design and build a small underwater robotic vehicle. The student will learn and overcome engineering challenges required to build and operate such a vehicle. |
| Scope | The URV will be required to navigate autonomously to set ways points in a T shaped water tank setup 2x2 m. Challenges regarding waterproofing, bouyancy, propulsion, navigation, contactless signal and power transfer as well as underwater communications , pick and place will have to be solved by the student engineer. Only students who are comfortable with a hands-on projects should take up this project.More information about the requirements can be found at http://www.arl.nus.edu.sg/urc/classes.htm |
