Title Active Rehabilitation via Bio-Signal Control Interface
Objective Design an upper limb continuous passive motion (CPM) rehabilitation machine controlled by surface EMG.
Scope In this project, the student will be required also to design and develop a CPM machine for wrist/arm training which can be controlled by the EMG signal of the patient via a PC. Thus the patient will need to contract the muscle of the limb to be trained. An algorithm will be developed to detect that particular signal and send a trigger to activate the CPM.
