| Title | Study and development of Electroencephalography (EEG) for use as a haptic device |
| Objective | To study the basis of Electroencephalography (EEG)and deploy it as a haptic device tool to control everyday devices. |
| Scope | To study and setup the Electroencephalography equipment, setup a series of experiments to collect EEG signals from various subjects. You will be required to perform signal processing and analysis and segment and recognise the signal for use as a Haptic device. You will be assisting a PhD student on this project and will be have the help of three RI students to undertake this project. The use of SEMG equipment is also available to entend the capability fo the haptic system. |
| Prerequisites | Signal processing and analysis concepts, mechatronics, sensor implementation and hardware development. Must be comfortable working in a team. |
