| Title | Design and Development of a Simple Morphing Flying Wing Using Movable Winglets |
| Objective | To improve the existing movable winglet design and to perform flight testing of the improved design |
| Scope | A prototype of morphing aircraft concept using movable winglets has been created in the previous project. However, there is still much room for improvement from the previous design. In this project, the scope of the work for the student is as follows:- to improve the aspects of the previous movable winglet design (mechanism, actuators, power requirements, etc.)- to flight test the improved design, collect data and analyze the performance of the aircraft in comparison with the non-morphing one.Hence this work is a combination of on-paper design/analysis and hands-on hardware installation |
