Choices of Programme

Before indicating your choice(s), please check on the Minimum Subject Requirements

Applicants interested in our Medicine programme are to note: You must not have started or completed an undergraduate programme at any University. Applicants who have previously applied for our Medicine programme may not be considered unless they have shown significant improvements in their academic grades or UCAT results.

Applicants who have indicated Medicine or REP programme as a choice are required to complete an additional section "Application for LKCMedicine Programme" or "Application for REP Programme" at the Application Status Menu, after you have successfully submitted the application form. REP is applicable to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Implied choice scheme. Applicants choosing any programme with a second major will also be considered for its corresponding programme with no second major, in a manner succeeding any of the 1st to 5th choices if selected in the application form, and if they have not been earlier selected as one of the five choices. E.g. an applicant indicated 1st choice Bioengineering with a Second Major in Business, 2nd choice Mechanical Engineering and no other choices, will be considered for Bioengineering with a Second Major in Business, Mechanical Engineering, followed by Bioengineering. If the applicant wishes to be considered Bioengineering as a 2nd choice over Mechanical Engineering, he should therefore indicate Bioengineering as a 2nd choice. To find out more about this scheme, click here.

There are 11 double degree Engineering and Economics programmes. Applicants interested in these programmes are allowed to choose no more than 2 from the 11 programmes.

There are 16 double major programmes offered under "Humanities, Arts & Social Sc: Double Maj" category. Applicants interested in these programmes are allowed to choose only 2 from the 16 programmes.

There are 2 minor in Strategic Communication programmes offered under "Accountancy & Business" category. Applicants interested in these programmes are allowed to choose only 1 from the 2 programmes.

Applicants choosing a particular Engineering programme with a minor in business will also be considered for its corresponding programme with no minor. E.g. by choosing "Bioengineering with a Minor in Business", one will also be considered for "Bioengineering". Applicants need not and will not be provided the option to choose both.

If you have selected Arts (Academic Discipline & Education) and/or Science (Academic Discipline & Education) as one of your Choices of Programme, you are required to make an online application using the online form at the end of the "Application Status/Modification Menu" by clicking on "Application for Teacher" button. Your choice for Arts (Academic Discipline & Education) and/or Science (Academic Discipline & Education) will not be considered if you do not complete the "Application for Teacher" form.

Other Important Information
Tuition Grant

I wish to apply for a Tuition Grant. I am prepared to sign a Tuition Grant Agreement with the Government of Singapore, which would require that I secure employment and serve in a Singapore entity for three years upon graduation. I am aware that the Agreement requires two sureties, who must be above 21 and below 65 years of age, and who must not be undischarged bankrupts. I also declare that I have not received a Tuition Grant or other sponsorship/subsidy from the Government of Singapore previously for a course of study at the same or a higher level as my new course. If I have, I am aware that this will be taken into consideration when assessing my Tuition Grant eligibility for my new course.

I do not wish to apply for a Tuition Grant. I understand that I will pay Non-Subsidised Tuition Fee throughout my entire course of study, and will not be eligible to apply for the Tuition Grant, Scholarships or other forms of financial aid throughout my entire course of study, if I am offered a place.

Note: This information will enable the University to develop a complete profile of an applicant and determine whether he/she might need additional resources in his/her studies. The University, however, does not guarantee the provision of special aid (financial or otherwise) to any student.

Financial Aid - Household Income

The university requires all applicants to provide their household income information. This serves the dual purpose of evaluating the financial aid needs of those in need and increasing their awareness of available financial assistance opportunities. This data collection will have no bearing on the outcome of your application.

In the context of this requirement, "household income" encompasses the total earnings of all family members residing in the same household with you. This includes contributions from various sources such as self-employment, business income, salaries, rental income, allowances, overtime earnings, commissions, and any other sources of income. It encompasses gross income figures, which also consider contributions to the Central Provident Fund (CPF).

To help us gain a clearer understanding of your financial circumstances, we kindly request that you provide the following information:

1. Your gross monthly household income (in SGD)
2. The total number of family members, including yourself, who currently staying in the same household as you

Your cooperation in supplying this information will greatly assist us in assessing your eligibility for financial aid and ensuring that individuals in need are well informed about the financial support options available to them.

Do you intend to apply for Financial Aid? *
Please note that you are still required to submit a separate online financial aid application.
