About the seminar: 

Anxiety is one of the two major mental health disorders affecting the Singapore population. While high stress levels are common, much can be done to prevent the onset of chronic and high levels of anxiety which often result in burnout and low levels of productivity in the long run.

As such, this course aims to increase awareness of how chronic anxiety can affect our wellbeing and productivity levels, as well as equip students with practical strategies which they can implement to prevent the onset of anxiety disorders or manage their symptoms should they already be struggling with anxiety.

 

About the Speaker 

Mr Michael Thong is Clinical Psychologist who specializes in counselling, psychotherapy, and psychological testing. He has been practicing since 2014, and is experienced in stress management, anger management, depression, anxiety management, obsessive compulsive concerns, family and relationships, mood concerns, work related concerns, career counselling,, intelligence testing and diagnostics, learning deficiency testing, personality profiling and assessment.

Michael graduated with a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology) and a subfocus
in Occupational Psychology from University of Texas, USA. Michael is a Chartered Psychologist the British Psychological Society, Registered Clinical Psychologist with Singapore Psychological Society, and Certified Crisis Responder with National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA).

 

 

*Do note that students are required to stay for 75% of the seminar duration in order to get their attendance endorsed.
