About the seminar:

This session will offer insights to PhD researchers who are considering an Academic Career. Topics include a discussion of the different types of academic careers available, a look at recent hiring trends as well as advice on how to do well in the recruitment process, including networking, writing personal statements and preparing for interviews. It will also touch on the criteria for success in landing an academic position, maximising your offer and addressing gaps in your experience. This will create an appropriate and prioritized action plan on what you can do now to help you chances later.
