Event Info Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) would like to invite you to attend a seminar by Visiting Scientist, Prof Viktor Mechtcherine from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. About the Speaker: One of the most promising new concrete technologies for implementing digital data and automated production is large-scale additive manufacturing with cement-based materials, also known as 3D concrete printing (3DCP). In his presentation, Viktor will explain the major drivers, challenges, and opportunities of this technology. He will focus on extrusion-based 3DCP and discuss the material requirements, the underlying physics of materials processing, and the testing methods for characterizing rheological properties. He will also provide a systematic overview of the existing solutions for integrating reinforcement in digital concrete technologies. His talk will draw on his extensive research experience at TU Dresden and in international collaborations. Registration for this event has closed. |
