About the seminar:

Data shows the importance of intangible assets (IA) to the global economy has been increasing over the past years. While IA is playing a more and more critical role in many S&P 500 companies, the sophistication level of managing and using IA in Asia has remarkable room for catching up. The 1.5-hour sharing aims to prepare graduates for their career by equipping them with a basic understanding of IA and intellectual property (IP) in the business context. The sharing also seeks to help participants find the true relevance of IP & IA to further their career in the near future.  

About the speaker:

Morgan is Senior Assistant Director of Global Engagement at IPOS International. He brings his experience in transnational business expansion to his current role in helping enterprises and research institutes succeed through IP strategy, management and commercialisation. Prior to joining IPOS International, Morgan led a regional IP solution sales team at Thomson Reuters / Clarivate Analytics, supporting clients throughout their innovation journey from discovery to commercialisation. During his professional career in China, Morgan practised law at a leading law firm and IP firm in Guangdong.
